rattling noise after cam and intake swap
Hi all last week installed a cam kit and new edelbrock intake on my 305 Ta,after about 2 days i notice i got a rattle which sounds like its coming from the center of the dash right behind the distributor,the noise is worse from 0-100km.I will try to describe the rattle is like 2 peices of metal shaking together,checked all the ductwork under dash and face of dash and all is tight.Also the car has headers and duals.My idle is around 500 rpm and it sputtters like its starving for gas when the idle sputters so does the rattle sound,this only happens when the car is in drive in park its fine,The performance after the swap is great no hestitation on the throttle.Thanks all.
