Re-wiring 69 Camaro with Painless
I am currently re-wiring my 69 Camaro with a Painless Kit.
It is the muscle car kit #20102. The car is basically complete with all of the interior done. My question is - There is a connector under the drivers side dash that I believe goes to the tail section and dome light. Should I just patch into this connector, or run the wires in the kit to the back? The existing wires seem to be good. The only reason I am re-wiring is because of a higher amp internal regulated alternator and additional items such as HEI, Cooling Fans, Vintage Air, and newer Radio. Also I understand there is an issue with the front and rear marker lights, in that they all need to be spliced into the rear tail lights not the front parking lights, is this true? Any other advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeff |
