ready to go spray... lots of it. what machine work needed?

well i have what is to be a built 406 with 586hp (supposedly)... long story short, needs a rebuild. have yet to tear it down to see what failed but im goinf to build for spray. i know forged parts is best with all apr... but what machine work should be done if any for spray?

How much is lots of it?
150 or less and you should be good to go. Over 200 and you need to look at cam selection, pulling timing, forged bottom, piston selection and compression, ring design and gap etc.. the specific amount of giggle gas aol determined the answers you get.

There are no other exclusive machine operations to be done that wouldn;t be done to any other motor.

With big nitrous shots the piston to wall clearances may be opened up a bit
and the ring end gaps made larger to account for the additional heat load.

All engines need precision machining. If your engine failed it will need a complete inspection upon teardown. Only then can a estimate of the required work be made up.

Did this motor previously fail while being sprayed with nitrous? or?....
