This is just too cool if you happen to be in the Northwest in July!
I just found out that Cory Welles, the gal who produced and directed the new film "32 Hours 7 Minutes", the first true film about the Cannonball Run and US Express (and filmed the crossing of the current cross country record holder who went from New York to Santa Monica in 31 hours 4 minutes!) is planning to be in the northwest to host several events the last weekend in July.
On Friday the 26th, there will be a screening of her film with an intro by Cory at a venue near the Goodguys Northwest Nationals event which is going on that same weekend.
On Saturday the 27th plans are in place for a "behind the scenes" discussion over dinner at the new LeMay museum and attendee's will have exclusive after hours access to all the museum exhibits including the new NASCAR exhibit and the Ferrari display.
On Sunday the 28th there will be a matinee screening of the film, again with an intro by Cory, at the historic Grand Cinema in downtown Tacoma.
I just talked with her and she said if anyone would like to attend or get more info, shoot her an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
and she will get back with you.
See ya there!
