I just changed my intake manifold and had marked all wires to my MSD HEI but some rubbed off and I need to know if anyone can give the the plug wire numbers starting at #1 on the cap. Would really help me out. This is on a 1st gen 355 SBC.

as in the fireing order?...... your odd numbered cylinders are on the driver side 1357 from frint to back and your even numbered cylinders are on your passenger side 2468 from front to back, from number one on the cap your order will be 18436572.....i love that firing order i would recommend memorizing it liek i did lol

ohh and if you didnt know you will place the wires in that order going in a clockwise manner srry i forgot to mention that

Number one on the cap SHOULD be the front tower on the passenger side
If you were to draw a line from the CENTER of the cap to the exhaust crosover area on the passenger side---that line should run very close to #1

From there------1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2--------clockwise

If some of those marks are still on the cap---you should be able to figure where the #1 is from that.
