Rear axle code

I pick up an old differential and was told it was out of a 70 chevelle. I was unable to find out where it came from looking up the codes. The code on the axle tube is ACC 298 1, and the code on the bottom of the pumpkin is 1243774.
There are a couple of other numbers on differential housing K-12 and J 12 4, D-N. It measures 55 1/4". Looking to see if it will work in a 65 chevelle. Any idea what it would have come out of?

What is the total width (backing plate measurements are not accurate). What do the spring perches look like. What does the cover look like?

That is the 8.5 10 bolt. If it's the A body rear end then it's out of a '71 or '72 Cutlass or Skylark and will be 61 inches wide over all.

I also have another PDF I found at one point, but it is at home. When I get back I can cross check it to see if they agree.
