Rear axle removal GMC 1500

I am stuck on this .I need to replace axle seals on this truck going on old school to remove the axle and i am stump on this set up and removal of axle can any body help

remove 4 bolts holding shocks on, u joint caps/straps and then the 8 u bolts. The U bolts should be replaced anyway. if there really stuck. just cut them.. You want to do this with the rear almost supported by stands and the truck pretty high up on a set of sturdy stands . a 2nd helper would be nice to pull the rear out from under it.

I think he just wants to remove the axle's... Not the whole housing.

Remove rear cover
Remove the 5/16 headed center pin bolt
push out center pin
slightly push axles in so c-clips can be removed
pull axle out
