I dont know if this could be the problem,but i had one a while back on my camaro that locked up and would not release and i thought it was the caliper but insted it was the hose went bad, broke down inside and would let the fluid in but not let it out to releive the preasure on the caliper, replaced the hose and all was fine again.

Good Suggestion!
Just crack the bleeder valve and see if the piston releases.
