3.73 is a common gear ratio for the 4cyl. in any case 26 or 28 spline 7.5" depending on year. Possible somthing else got swapped in. If the pinion flange is flat and needs an adapter, it's a Ford explorer 8.8" and if the axle tubes are tapered then it is an 8.5" S10 rear

Ok, thanks! I guess I will see when I install the TH350 tomorrow. My last S10 had a 4cyl with the OD auto and a 3.73, so the V8 swap with the TH350 I would be around 3000 rpms @ 65mph, I can take a guess with this one. I could jack up the rear, spin the tire and see how many revolutions the shaft turns to 1 turn on the tire. I was trying to avoid taking the pumpkin cover off to see if its a LS or posi, but I might do it anyway, gives me an excuse to change the fluid!
