Post Rear end for 36 chev

I am builing a 1936 chev 4dr. I will be running about 300 hp. I am told that a Chevy S10 rear end will fit. If so is there anything special that I should look for? Do any come stock with 3.08 Ratio? What size tires should I run? I would like to keep the fenders stock and I do not intend to drag race this car.
