Rear end change for 53 Chev

OK we have gone through many questions on changing a Chev to open drive line, but from these I find no definitive answer on an easy swap. So here are the stats on a 53 drive line.
2" springs
54" backing plate to backing plate
45.5" center to center on the springs
Is there a matching rear end that will slip into this configuration?
I have been told 1st Gen Camaro and also 2nd gen Camaro, but the only Camaro rear end I have located is 2.5" on the springs.
Another rear end would be a 55-57 unit and I am definitely going to look at this opportunity.
I can't weld and it is hard to move a car to a welder with the rearend removed so I am looking for answers, if any are out there.

thanks

53 rear-end swap

Is this a car or is it a pick-up?

I just got through swapping everything from a 1979 Chev. 1/2 ton into a 1949 Chev 1/2 ton. The IFS from the 79 was 1 and 1/2 inches wider than the narrowed 49 front frame. This was shimmed with 3/4 steel plate.
The rearend fit perfect, using the 49 springs and longer u-bolts. Had to Manufacture a drive-shaft to tie everything together.
The only problems I have encountered thus far is hooking all the computer controlled suystems up.

This is a 210 Sedan so unfortunately the changes you made wouldn't help. Since I posted this thread I have learned that any change I make will require spring changes so with this info I will pickup a Camaro rearend and proceed.
Thanks for your response.
