Post rear end HELP!

Hi guys
Im new to the site, and man its great.
I need to know what makes of chevy came with the twelve bolt positraction rearend, Ive looked high and low with no luck for this animal and decided I must be looking in the wrong places.
I have a restored 70 Montecarlo, and want to replace the stock twelve that came with it with a positraction.
I appreciate any responce.

I dont know how much your looking to spend?but summit or jegs sells EATON posi performance differentials so you could keep your housing for $399.95 or the powertrax for $429.95 (Chevelles72 and down hope this helps (wrenchturner)

They were an option on 60's and early 70's GM cars usually found on muscle cars. Good luck finding one they are getting rare. If you can't find one e-mail me and I'll check adds here and send you phone numbers. Jack

Look for Big Block Nova"s, Camaro"s, Chevelles.
These were the Muscle Cars of the Late Sixtys, and Early Seventy"s.

I say Big Block"s because of They"re Higher Torque, and Horsepower Output.

The Small Block Car"s, except the Chevelle, got 10 Bolt Rearends. Also Look for El Caminos.
