Hi i am building a drag car it is an 84 camaro i need to know how wide (the length) of the camaro rear end and i am looking for a full list of what length 9" rear ends came in what.

I put one out of a old Bronco for a kid years back. Unsure of the year it was but it was the old stlye small one. I'm 90% sure that is what he said it came out of. the length worked well as it was abit smaller. We didn't use the stock suspension but If your going to race the car you won't use it either. to tell you the truth we prob well use a stock suspension. and maybe a hotchkis kit.

Because if your motor develops any decent hp, stock suspension certainly won't hook up. Good Luck!

There are a ton of nine inch race part vendors out there. Unless you are only going to remove the air cleaner on your car and go do it, it would be a good thing to do a little checking on just what you need to do to make this swap work in your case. Bondsman is right on. I've often thought GM designed the entire rear of the car to break loose and smoke like mad so as to impress their target demographics, somewhere between 7 to 13 year old boys.
