Rear end leaf springs 64 Malibu
My 64 Malibu SS has a rear leaf spring setup and the work was pretty shoddy. Is it worth returning it to coil and what do you think a rough guess of cost would be to do that?

Unless I am MISTAKEN ...
The 1964 Malibu's came from GM with coil spring rear suspension. Did someone change yours and if so WHY ??? .

64 Malibu
Yeah that's how I bought it and then was told it was supposed to have coils all the way around. Several dollars later it has been replaced with coil rear end.

Glad you got it resolved....Question is...Why would someone do that?....

I bought a 66 GTO like that once. I figured the guy couldn't figure out how to get the car hooked up. Slapper bars are easy. LOL
