Rear End width for V8 S10

Currently I am doing an SBC swap into an 82 S10. I have the body totaly removed from the frame, and the frame is cleaned and painted. I currently still have the 7.5" non-posi unit sitting in the frame, but of course, that has to go. My choice diff is the 9" Ford, simply due to strength. I was wondering, do they make a 3.20:1-3.50:1 rear end with posi, thats wide enough for my application. The S10 frame is short, but I want to fit wide rims on the rear without having to choose rims that have no offset. The rims I bought are 17x10 2002 Camaro SS rims, the offest is 7". I want to be able to swap in a rear end that will stick out far enough beyond the frame to fit my wheels without the chance of the inner sidewall rubbing the frame. I will have to flare the fenders to fir the tires, but thats the only way to get sufficient traction with the look I want. I need longer-legged gearing in the rear end because my truck is gonna be mighty powerful, but is extreemly light. This causes some traction issues, and with the right traction it will fly like a fart in the wind. please give suggestions
