Positraction, Sure-Grip, & Traction-Lock are all "trade names" for limited-slip differentials made by GM, Chrysler, & Ford, respectively. Limited-slips send torque to both sides using clutches, but the clutches will slip some under certain conditions, such as turning under light throttle. The more torque you put into it, the tighter the clutches hold, causing both wheels to turn.
