Rear suspension on 1970 Chevelle

My 1970 Chevelle Malibu sits kind of low in the back. Just had the shocks replaced and I thought that would raise it a bit. Do I need to replace the springs to lift it up or use coiledover shocks? Please advise.

Dude, your shocks don't affect ride height.

Stand back and take a look at your car. Should you lower the front springs or increase the rear? That's your decision.

I have a 1968 Pontiac Tempest. I have the same situation. But, I have determined that my front end needs to be lowered. Google vehicle aerodynamics to help you decide what works best for you.

Like Grease says. Lower the front or use some coil spring boosters in the back. Like these.
