Rear Suspension; Too many options
I have a 67 firebird and am trying to figure out what kind of rear suspension I am going to put in it. I am going to be running wider tires, so if I stick with the leaf springs I am going to have to buy a kit to move them inboard a little so I can mini-tub the rear. The only kit I have found runs north of $1,200. I am going to be purchasing an after market 9" rear, so I can use whatever suspension I want. I want a good suspension that will work well for street and corners.
Now for the Questions: - Does anyone know of a more affordable kit to relocate the leafs inboard? - Are there any decent 3 link systems that would work well and not kill my budget? Thanks for your help! mike |
