Rear sway bar for 73-87 chevy truck?

Were there ever any factory installed sway bars on the 73 - 87 Chevy trucks? I am looking for one for my 79 2wd but dont really want to spend 200+ for an aftermarket one.

I was thinking that my old 89 suburban had one but I dont remember. If so, i could find one of those and use it probably. The suburbans kept the old 73-87 body style until 91 so the frame and axles should all be the same.

I believe it was an option on the Camper Specials only
So you would be limited to looking at 3/4 - 1-ton trucks

Good to know they exist on things other than the later model subs. I have had and been under many 73-87 pickups and 73-91 subs (all of them 1/2 ton tho) and the only one to have a rear sway bar was the 89 sub. I have a 78 C-10 sub "trailering special" and it didn't have a rear sway bar. A guy I do some work for has a 77 C-10 and it doesn't have a rear sway bar either. I'm thinking maybe a

The rear end under my C10 is from an 86 C20 and that truck did not have a rear sway bar either. I guess I will have to dig around and see what I can find. It sure would be nice to have tho, I cant take a turn of any type like I can in my '96 2500 Suburban. Pretty sad that a big SUV can corner better than a pickup... lol.
