Rear Wheel Side Clearance

Hey Guys,

I am planning on putting a Martz Custom Rear Suspension on my '69 Camaro and will be getting a narrowed for 9" for a rear axle. I want to lower the rear of the car since it sits so high due to the 31" tall tires needed to fill the cut out and tubbed wheel wells. How much clearance do you feel I need on each side of the tire once the car is lowered? Using the same rims and tires as I have now, which I'm sorta hoping to to will give me 1.5" on each side, do you think thats enough? TIA
