Post Rear Wheel Tubs

I'm not sure if This is the right forum but here goes. I bought a "74" Chevy Monte Carlo and want to convert it to a "Pro-Street" car. How difficult is it to have wheel Tubs installed, and where is the best place to have the work done ? For Example, go to a body shop, High performance shop etc ? Thanks for your help.

It has a 10 bolt rearend, what is the best type to replace it with and have narrowed for this car ? I"m Planning a 502 HP, Chevy 502ci engine.

Bigjodo, cool choice for a Pro Streeter, in my opinion big bulky cars make the best lookin' ones, almost like it's what they where meant to be. Better find a Hot Rod shop for this one, it's not a tough job for folks who know there stuff. I would take the advice of the builder about the rear-end, but if it was me I'd stay with a Chevy rear 10 or 12 bolt. If you intend to make the car really hook-up you'll probably want a 12 bolt for strength reasons, you can increase the size of your axles in a 10 bolt, but not quite as much as the 12 bolt.
