Rear Window patch panel replacement

Im planning on replacing the rear lower window channel panel on my 67 Elco and was wondering when doing so how I replace the studs where the molding clips will go into. The patch panel replacement doesnt seem to have these studs. Any recommendations?

The studs for the reveal clips have to be welded on.Most use a stud gun type welder with collets or a tig will work.If you don't have either you can take it to a body shop before you weld in your patch panel.

or you could use a small screw instead of the stud pin.
