Rearend
ok i have a 1955 Chevy bel air with an original rear end and i have the frame off the body and i am wondering what rear end to put in it!

A 70s Torino/Montego/Tbird rear end is the same width as a 55 Chevy rear, and only needs new spring perches to fit.

I user a 69 12 bolt only 1in wider Eaton pozi dragraced for 6years [no slicks] without breakage
