Sounds like you have whats called a "drop out" third member. Look on the front of the diff and you should see studs with nuts all around the housing. You'll have to pull both axles and the driveshaft, then remove all the nuts and remove the center section. Pretty common and actually makes it easier to set up the gears as everything can be taken to the bench to work on.

Thanks, know before i remove all those thing is there anything i should be aware of, like i heard that the drive shaft has little spring that will try to fall out where it connects and that i need to put tap around it to hold them in.
