I just traded for a 454 4 bolt main block and am looking at rotating assembly kits. I know that Procomp in a lot of circles has not had a very good rep. I am building this on a budget or as much of one as you can really do with a bigblock! :D Any experience with this kit, seller? Any other suggestions in the same or close price range?

this is what i suggested to another guy http://www.ebay.com/itm/BBC-CHEVY-4...otors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr..if.. like anything if you purchase something like this, make sure you have everything checked and even have it rebalanced..
Thanks! That does look like a better kit. I wonder if he sells it with a flywheel setup instead of the flexplate. Its funny, my first BB build I did not spend wisely. I did wined up with a 400 rwhp 454. But doing more research I could have done a 496 for as much as I had in the 454 or maybe less!!!

Thanks
