If you want to rebuild the 700 tranny, i say go for it. But if you can't think ahead of what your doing and how it affects your rebuild, and what you've done behind each step, your in for an education. Keep things clean, in order and double check everthilng. Air presure check everthing as you go along and read the net for advise. I rebuilt a 200 4r and never had any experience. It was an education, but alot of fun. I didn't have any special tool, just my thinking on how to do it without the tool. Now my toy has the best of both worlds. My tranny works just great and it was so much fun, that i built a second one. I could of paid to of had it done, but i wanterd the pleasure of doing it myself, like everthing else i've done to my toy. I'm 65 years old, and IF i can do it, you can to.
