Rebuilding 1948 Ply 2DR Cp

I've just purchased a 1949 Plymouth, 2 Door, Business Coupe and I'm excited about getting started at turning it into the beautiful street rod look that it has the potential for. It's a very nice solid car. Has all the chrome and no rust. It has a flathead 6 cylinder in it.

My first challenge is to convert it from 6 V to a 12 V system.

+ Can I change out the single brake fluid cylinder and add a safer dual cylinder?

Can you help with some pointers.

welcome........Best to ask that brake question in the brake forum. Switching to a dual master is a great idea.
