Post rebuilding a 350 4 bolt main

I just got a 350 4 bolt main, just the block.I got it because the price was right and it had benn magnafluxed and hot tanked, very nice.Is it hard to build one and is it expensive.Does anyone know of a good resourse to go by.Also is it worth the effort. If I do it I will over do it and it will become another life time project.

If you have never done it, I would suggest getting a good book that outlines the process. It is not hard, there are just some things you have to do and not do.

Cool

Book are a very good idea. The local Library should have some to give you and idea of what reference material you might want to buy for yourself. Put down on paper what you want to build, what crank if its stroked, stock bore or bored. What cam and intake, carb and headers. If you build a stroker with a whopping cam you will need a good stall convefrter, 18 to 2200 stall easy. Like I said buikd it on paper and check your budget, twice.
