Rebuilding 350 engine

Hi im rebuilding a 350 engine its getting bored.030 over and i am looking at putting pistons in it that get about 11.9:1 compression i was wondering about a nice set of heads and cam i would use

Depends on the intended use. If its in a truck you might want smaller runners in the head and a smaller duration cam for low rpm hp and better low end torque. If its in a car you might want to go bigger for high rom hp at the loss of low end hp and torque. What is it for and what do you need it to do?

Why 11.9 compression? Asking as it won't be pump gas friendly.

Well not really sure thats just what i was gonna go with and i figured that maybe if i came here and got ideas i could actually build a nice powerful engine for a truck and not really sure gotta a lot of time to waste before classes start again
