Rebuilding Eaton Posi?
The Eaton Posi in my car seems to be losing its grip...last time at the track while doing the burn-out, the car wanted to go sideways everytime...both quarter-panels had rubber on them, but the left had quite abit less...
how hard is it to re-build one and how expensive?? Thanks

Parts aren't too bad, but the labor part can be tough. The side gears are spring loaded with high force springs, usually in excess of 600# force. Without some knowledge and tools this may be tougher than it looks.
My shop does this regularly, but the equipment is there to perform this task. Clutch stackup and endplay determine the succes of this overhaul, mostly.
