rebuilding steering column....
Is there a place close to Barstow, Cal. that rebuilds steering columns? I need one done for a late 60's chevy truck w/ ign. on the dash. Thanks. Even something a little farther is fine.

Steering Colum Rebuild
There are quite a few steering column re-builders, unfortunately I think most are in the upper mid west. I also know that there have been articles written in the car magazines about rebuilding a steering column. Since yours is not a tilt and does not have the ignition in the column it would seem to be a fairly straight forward project. I just went online and searched for steering column rebuild. I think you will find what you are looking for. You may get lucky and find one close to you.
