rebuilt 2004r sources

Hi, I'm converting my 83 monte from the th350 to a 200r4. I was looking for some input on a good place to buy a rebuilt and upgraded unit from a reputable buillder.
I've looked at tci, bowtie, maddog. Need more to choose from to make up my mind.

Thanks, Mike

RPM Performance in Indiana. Hands down a great shop to deal with.

If I was you, Id lurk on the GN forums. It takes a different mindset and materials to build a purpose built 200-4r or 700r4/4L60. A lot of rebuild shops try to use a TH350 approach it seems and there are lots of unsatisfied customers looking for performance OD boxes.

Mike,

Perhaps the "best of the best" is not all that far from you, CK Performance. Give Chris a call and he'll work with you...

Chris @CK can be difficult to get a hold of by Ph. sometimes, busy, busy. He's "Chris718" on TurboBuick.com forum.

Another very good & busy shop is Lonnie @ExtremeAutomatics.com "Quickt" on TB.com http://www.extremeautomatics.com/ not as close to you, Ohio.

Also Dave Husek, ID is same as name on TB.com easiest to get in touch with.
