Rebuilt Carbs

Can anyone recommend a company for rebuilt carbs? I'm looking for a Q-Jet and have seen them at Summit, Jegs etc. Any experience with these? Are they worth it? Thanks! JG700

"Are they worth it?"

You are the only one who can determine that. I guess if you needed a good Quadrajet and didn't have a rebuildable one or didn't know how to begin rebuilding one, any price would be worth it. If you're asking is there value there for the money, yeah I think so. Nobody makes a killin' off of this stuff anymore. Too much competition.

If you want to pick up a core and rebuild it yourself, there is no better authority on Rochesters than Doug Roe, General Motors engineer.

I'm with TechSpec on this one. You might try the link for Recarbco below. I have no idea on their pricing. Couldn't hurt to call though. Their carbs are remanned not rebuilt. They can match to original engine equipment if that is necessary. Just need the #'s.
