Rebuilt T56 grinding
Hi to all.
Some time ago I bought a T56 out of a Camaro to put on mi 71 LeMans. Shifting in to 3rd was almost impossible so I took the trans out and dismantled it. I changed 2nd gear (clearly damaged), all blocking rings, shift pads and keys and cheked the 3/4 fork because I know they`re problematic but it looked ok so I let it alone. Now with the trans in the car I can shift good into 3rd without noise or grinding but it pops out one out of three times more or less and the 4th grinds always! The 3rd pop out gets worse with the trans hot and even gets violent. So I will take the fat T56 out again. What should I look for now? HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!
