Recamend me a paint gun.

I am going to be primer sealing my 88 s-10 2 door blazer soon. And I am also replaceing a door so I need to paint the door jam to match. And I am going to be painting the engine bay flat black. So I want to buy a paint gun instead of borrowing my uncles. I also may paint it myself further down the road. Nothing special just plain factory white. Or maybe satin black. I dont want to spend more the like $70. I dont have a big budget to do all this. I just want a decent gun for primering my blazer. I was thinking of something like this. http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=43430

But I am open to all sugestions.

Re: Recamend me a paint gun.

That's the one I use. Love it. See the fenders for the '53 Chevy pickup I recently painted w/ it. Did primer, sealer, color & clear and smooth as glass! And it does as advertised - uses way less paint than a conventional gun.

Thanks, everybody else said it would be good for small jobs. But nobody ever used it. So you think I could primer and paint and clear my truck with it and still look decent? I know it wont be as good as a shop but I want to learn how to paint. And it will be good practice.

I've got that same gun and a Devilbis finishline III. I've used the HF gun mostly for primer, but i did spray some synthetic enamel on the race car hood scoop and bumper. Some pictures of the Olds are on my website, although not real closeups. It worked very good and the paint came out great. I also bought a larger cup at a Super Chevy show for it. For the money, its a great gun to work with.
