Reccomendation for gauges?

My wife has decided the Ford racing gauges we have, with the gold trim, won't look right in our car so I'm selling them to a friend. Now I would like to find a quad set and speedometer, 3 3/8 size. I've checked out TPI, Dolphin, Autometer and Classic. Anologues with an old timey look for my 36 Ford. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks, Dan

These are what I use in my 66 GMC. I also put in the red gelcaps over the lights that come with the guages and it looks very nice at night. I'll post a picture of them at night if I have time.

They are Autometer Old Tyme Series

My "old woman" wouldn't know what a gauge is................One time when an orange light in the dash came on, she said..."Why should I worry about that, If it was important, it would be RED and flashing"........................

Autometer Old Tyme

Put em in the Jeep (I retro'd the YJ dash into a custom fab CJ type) and really like the look.

My wife hasn't bellyached a bit about anything I've bought for the car, got to give her some input here and there..lol. We went with the TPI Classic, one speedometer, one quad, 4 gauges in one. http://www.tpigauges.com/ Scroll towards the middle of the page, the quad 3 3/8 with the white face, programmable speedo, senders, she found it on ebay for about $40 savings. Brand new from a dealer. I've decided to two-tone the coupe, silver bottom, dark burgundy on the top, the Ford racing gauges had gold trim and " it just wouldn't look right". I got the Ford gauges (6) with the car, I like the quad look better, makes for a cleaner, less cluttered look. Charcoal silver and black interior, silver trim on the gauges, Now I match... No tach this time. Dan
