Serpentine is expensive, but if you have the money go for it. I'd just use deep v pullies. I'm a fan of v-belts.
There's also pulely sets that allow you to use a "serpentine style" belt but with the individual routing like the v-belts. Something to look into..

Should be the same mounting points. I believe most of changes between generations were to do with coolant passages and oiling system so externally there should be much difference. Maybe someone else can confirm this?

Fan and coolant pump are direction sensitive. The OEM V-Belt system rotates these parts clockwise with the crankshaft direcction when viewed from the front. The OEM and most aftermarket Serpentine Belt set ups rotate the fan and pump counter-clockwise , against crankshaft rotation. A few aftermarket Serpentine systems rotate the fan and pump in the OEM, V-Belt, clockwise direction.

So you've got to keep all this in mind and pay careful attention so as to match the pump driven fan (if used) and the pump to the direction the belt system will turn them. Otherwise cooling will greatly suffer and these parts will have to be corrected for their proper rotation.

AC, alternator and power steering are unaffected keeping the same rotation direction for all of these different belt drive systems.
