Records all falling in Reading PA!

Top fuel just ran a 3.71 ET and 334mph

According to the ESPN coverage...

During the event, THREE CARS ran under the old Top Fuel record!!!

Amazing!

There were also new National records set in Funny Car... and in Pro Stock Bike!

Going by my memory... (we are in trouble)... the new Top Fuel record was about 3.70 at 331 MPH.

That would have been a fast speed in 1320 feet, a few years back!

You are correct.. Brown went 370.1 after Langdon went 3.71. I guess PA has some perfect weather.

Prostock bike reset the record also..6.72

I'm sorry, but the last I heard for sure it was about 270.

Whatever it takes to stop having the driver's getting killed. I usually go to 2 or 3 events a year and I've never been disappointed in the show.

I mean they only gain 15 to 25 mph in the last 300 ft anyway. When 280 to 290 in the 1/8 who care's..
