I'm not sure if any of you guys are experienced with vynl but I thought I'd pose this question anyways. My glovebox came with a nasty tweed fabric on it (factory) and after 12+ years it was quite dirty and needed to go. I pulled it all off, and what was left was the bare plastic plus a bit of fuzz/glue.
I proceeded to recover it with vynl from a local fabric store, and I'm pretty pleased with the results, but one issue I had was around the handle. I had to cut the fabric to get it to go down in the pocket, resulting in small gaps where there is no vynl. Is there a better way to go about this?
thanks for any thoughts,
alden
