"That" red?

Ok, I know we all have different preferences with regards to colours and paints

But......what do you think is "That" red?

Never heard of it in that red before. Unless you are talking about the response some people will give when they see the same old red again and again, Then maybe then i have heard that red.

On this side many times it's called "sell me" red. The ones that come to mind are both Porsche - Guards or India red. A few years ago, Nissan had one that was.......bright!!!

GM had a bright one... if that is what you are looking for... called Torch Red.

Are you also considering metallics, pearls, or candies? If so, many guys are going for really deep dark reds in a pearl or candy. I am seeing them pretty often recently. Only problem is the body and paint need to be more perfect.

That Red

IMHO, "That Red" would be Flame Red, I've had two GM trucks this color. Here is a couple of sample photos;

Sorry, I thought you were refering to the old, sun-burnt, dead V/W red.

I think I'd like something just a little deeper and richer than those listed above

Any ideas what would look like this?

Sherwin Williams has a custom paint line developed with Barret/Jackson.. I suspect it is very expensive but might get you what you want. You are not gonna find that red in any factory color books. JMO

I shot this one Flame Red. It's a Chevy color... I think from the early '90s.
