Red light on in 67 Camaro

So driving home the other day a little red light comes on right between the speedometer and the gas gauge. I never even noticed that there was a light there before. I thought it might be a low fuel warning light, but I filled it up and it's still on. Oil is fine, alt is good, coolant is good.... What other sensors did they have in 67??? Can anyone tell me what this light is???

Thanks Guys....

James

My truck has a brake warning light that is connected to the proportioning valve. If the pressure is too uneven between the front half and the rear half of the valve, it trips the switch and turns on the light.

When my warning light started coming on every once and a while it turned out to be a leaking wheel cylinder on one rear brake drum. I had to hit the brakes fairly hard before the uneven pressure turned on the warning light.

It's the high beam indicator!!! Duh... I very rarely drive the car at night, and haven't outside the city, so I've never hit the highs... Must have bumped the switch when I was working on it last.....

Thanks for the input though....
