reducing Imron

Hi, Someone just gave me a gallon of 34P Imron paint and Im trying to research what I need to reduce and add activator to it before it gets sprayed. Can anyone help me out on this subject? Thanks in advance..

I have sprayed hundreds of gallons of Imron working in the aircraft industry, I have never needed to thin it...it's pretty thin once activated. Let it kick in the pot for 15 minutes before spraying and you will see it thin out on its own.

spray'n imron

i don't know the info u want.. but u can contact a paint shop or email dupont for that info... but i will tell u ...DO NOT PAINT IN A GARAGE ATTACHED TO U'R HOUSE.... major smell factor u don't want to live in for a couple of wks... nasty...

34P is not Imron

The 34P is a fast dry alkyd, not a poly-urethane like imron. It depends on your end use whether it will be suitable. I would not use it as a topcoat on the exterior of a car, unless you will be happy with repainting next year.
pc.dupont.com has all of the info. Look under Industrial Coatings.
