The bodyshop I work at here in Ontario uses a company called Fibrenew. Colour matches perfectly, no fading, no shrinking, no future cracking of the repair, never peels. Contact Fibrenew Decatur 217-855-9135 Clayton Barrows

Any good automotive paint store can match the color and mix it for vinyl. The stuff is self etching so usually you dont need a primer. They can put it in a spray can and you shoot it on. Use the vinyl prep solvent so you get all the Armour All off before hand so it will stick.

I've used LeatherMagic's vinyl and leather recoloring kits with good results.
As with anything, the prep work is important. Had mixed success with the repair kits - a lot depends on matching the "grain" of the vinyl or leather, and I've had some repairs (small nicks in a dash) go really well, and others come out pretty lame. www.leathermagic.com |
