what were you thinking?
For all the members of hotrodders.com I have to apologize for what "yes" posted on your site. What we posted on our own forum was immature, but he had no right to post it on your forum, because you guys have never posted anything like that on here. Once again I am sorry and i do still think yall are over reacting to the whole gas monkey garage thing.

and then EXACTLY 20 minutes later ...

glad you *enjoyed* them

<sigh>
I'm confused ... is "Yes" (Steve) another of "GmcKid" (Kyle's) aliases?

Multiple personality disorder?
That's it! Maybe he's ALL 127 "members" of the group?

"Oh what a wicked web we weave ..." or as someone else said ... "This just keeps getting better and better."

Anyway ... I see that "they" have decided to close that thread.

Well at least we know exactly why they have so few members. I check there once in a while to see if they're up to anything (mostly against us) and it's sad that I make up the 1/4% of people viewing their site.. Only 2 members and 2 guests active, ouch.. I have no hard feelings for them, then again, did I ever?? I'm sure we will hear more from them if we decide to take care of another advertiser. Watch we do something against Viagra for spamming our forums and they decide to jump in and back up "the man."

steve is "yes", who posted the thread with the grafittie pics, I read through there thread on YR and Kyle said that Steve put them on here under the allias " yes ". steve's username on Yr is wagonzmakegoodrods or somthing like that. we could shut them down for a month easilly, find there Ip adress and ping it through a constant loop and use up there bandwidth as there on a free server ( invisionfree ), bandwidth is based monthly on most of those free servers, so once it's gone, it's gone.. for a month at least. couldn't do the same here, this site has so much available bandwidth that it wouldn't affect anything.

My point was that GmcKid was chastising ("wagonzmakegoodrods" -- AKA "Steve" -- AKA "Yes")

and then ... 20 minutes later

he ("GmcKid" -- AKA "Kyle" -- AKA "NOTACHAINER" -- and God knows how many other aliases) admits that he was a participant!

This led me to speculate that perhaps ("wagonzmakegoodrods" ) was yet ANOTHER of his aliases or even that ALL 127 members were just ONE guy!
================================================== ===

Yeah ... I know... "Clear as mud", right?
That's their game ... create a whole lot of fake personae ... and then "flame" each other or generally make a nuicance of themselves.

Their forum is their forum...

what they do at YR is their business, but it seems sad to me that they ask for tech help at other places and get ignored... one of their own posts says that multiple times.... and how are they supposed to learn from those of us who ARE building and working with the exact same parts that they want to be, when they let the stupid 'toughguy' games run rampant. That's like cutting your foot off because you stubbed your toe and just need a bandaid.

Sure the comments on the other site were meant to be disrespectful, hurtful, and give their egos a boost while cutting mine down. I don't care about the comments themselves, it's just a few printed words, and words never hurt me. The truly sad part about the comments over at OSR was that some of the responses were from members I have personally talked with on other sites, and they went along with the comments instead of saying 'hey, that guy knows a lot more than you, I have talked with him before...'

Fine, so be it. I can be the bigger man in all of this and offer up the olive branch to Kyle and his buddies, now it's up to them if they want my tech help or not. I hope they reconsider, check out the vast amount of work on the Kustomsledd (same kind of budget buildup they idolize), and decide it's better to show respect in order to receive it in return than to go around picking fights and bashing people.

Doc

66, what I would want to know is why one person would create 127 names? I would think that might be a little much but I wouldn't be surprised if those 127 names were really only about 9 or 10 people. Or maybe he had a severe personality disorder??? Check out what they've got up on their site now. You cant even get to the board. Instead this comes up: "Owned. By the asshats at Hotrodders.com."

Maybe the best thing to do is just completely ignore them. Don't say anything when they post here or on their place. When they do post here just PM one of the mods or Jon and have them lock out their IP address without ever saying (rather typing) a word. Maybe they'll get bored and move on...

Blazin, you just type in therodderz.com for their site, I'm not sure what that screen that popped up was all about but sure is pretty funny Oh and this has been bugging me, what in the hell is an asshat??? I have never heard anyone in the 18 years that I've been alive call someone an asshat which sounds stupid as hell to say but then again, we are dealing with idiotic children here

I wonder who is paying for www.youngrodderz.com as it's not there web address, and has to be paid for, yet has no reason to because it's some text on a blank page, wonder if he hacked for the site address

Oh, yeah guys, I must've forgot to mention that one...

See, these Youngrodderz punks were calling me and my mods asshats all over the net. And, even though we were working day and night to expose a scandal by Gas Monkey and scumbag marketers, they still worked against us.

So, I figured that someone, possibly me, should teach them a lesson.

Apparently, despite their vast hacking knowledge, they failed to register the standard .com version of their board name.

Most unfortunate.

Also, did you know that they spammed our new Hotrodding Encyclopedia? Most unwise.

We should have no problem outranking them in the search engines for their own name. Then, whenever they want to cause any trouble, and they cause a commotion, and people go to look up their website, and type "Youngrodderz" into a search engine, then we can put our own message up there. Thus, they are "owned" by us.

Owned. By the asshats at Hotrodders.com.

Alternatively, we can start our own forum for younger hotrodders. Who knows, we can even choose the respectful ones to be admins. That should ensure that we never have to deal with this problem again.

If an admin from another site repeatedly trolls our forum, it's an annoyance, but not a big deal.

If an admin from another site repeatedly trolls our forum, and they still let him be in power, then that's more annoying, but still not a big deal.

However, if an admin from another site repeatedly trolls our forum, and they still let him be in power, and they use their forum to plan an attack against ours, when we're working on a really important project, then they're over the line.

More trouble from them, and I'll just call their mommies.

Toooooo funny! Jon really knows how to get even.

I got a PM from our friend Kyle titled "Grow up" ... which said "I was just as bad as he was"
