According to the laws they want to see reciepts for all the parts i use on the "Kit car". If i use a motor and transmission out of a junkyard to rebuild how do i show documentation for it? Also i hear they will consider the car the same year as it is registered and vin number is made, so i would have to go through emissions? Does anyone have any idea if this is true or am i wasting my time on this project and should just scrap it?
Not sure on Ct but that is the way it is in MA. It is a lot easier if you can find a way to register it as a 23. Some states have replica title available, I dont think CT is one of them.

My T-Bucket is registered as a 23 ford so I need nothing as far as emissions.
