Reimagining the Dream Truck
I've always liked Spencer Murray's Dream Truck, but there were some details that just didn't flow right. Harry Bradley apparently had some of the same issues with it, and solved some of the problems with his sedan delivery version.
I still wasn't quite happy with the way it looked, I applied some of my own ideas to his version, re-sectioning the front end and stretching it out a little for better proportions; and tinkered with a bunch of little details so everything flows together.
The mild rake and the re-chopped top gives it a bit more attitude, then I re-worked the fins to flow with the new roof line and the new tail lights; and a set of 59 Olds tail light bezels might become exhaust ports
The front end is a debate: I like the Barris grill, but I keep thinking about the ribbed bars on an early-50's Dodge truck, so that may change; and I'm thinking about a trimmed down set head light bezels from a 57 Turnpike Cruiser
Stick a dual-quad 409 under the hood, and it's perfect for hauling an early-60's style Gasser to the track
