Relay for brake pressure switch question
I went with a Ron Francis inline brake pressure switch on my model A hot rod. I keep hearing how they fail with regularity. Would installing a relay help or does anyone or does anyone have any suggestions?

Doc here, That depends on what's causing the failures.. If it's high pressure then a relay will do you no good... If it's internal contacts , then yes, It will reduce a 15 to 20 amp draw through the contacts down to an amp..(your switch will last forever..or until pressure blows it out..) You Could just install one in hopes that the failures were contacts..as preventive medicene..(never hurts) and see where it goes from there mechanical~wise. Doc
