Remote reservoir power steering

Where is the best place to mount the reservoir? I'm assuming that it should at least be mounted higher then the pump and the higher above it the better?

Think of the integral unit and you could deduct that level would work, but I went for higher to be on the safe side. I installed mine on the firewall and ran the lines in the shortest and most direct way. 20/20 hind sight and I would have gone straight down to the frame rail, followed it to the point of turning into the pump.
