Remove Blower motor 1969 chevy pickup

Trying to remove blower motor from my i absolutely have to remove the head and hinge to remove or am i missing something?

I replaced one in a '72 Pontiac once. Had to cut a panel out of the firewall to get it out, then cobble up edges for the piece and sheet metal screw it back into place. Your best bet is to procure a factory service manual for the truck. You don't know what you don't know.....

I'm talking FACTORY manual here, not one of those fosdick Haynes or Chilton pieces that are next to worthless.
