remove leaves? 58 chevy with cal-tracs
Hey everyone,

I have a 58 chevy PU with cal-tracs. As far as I know its stock suspension in the rear with 9 leaves. With the Cal-tracs its way too stiff. My question is what leaves and how many to remove for a starting point?

I have herd people say you want to start with the 2 shortest leaves and go from there others say middle leaves. So anyone with some first hand knowledge would be appreciated if they would chime in.

The truck is a hotrod that will never haul anything over a few hundred pounds in the back. Because of the wheel tubs I'm not really looking to lower it but would like the rear end softer.
